Matt is the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Hometalk. He is also one of the co-founders of the New York based startup, Onepager. Prior to Onepager, Matt co-founded the design agency Simande where his responsibilities included business development, client relations, and project management. During that time Simande worked with companies such as: RRE Ventures, CNNMoney.com, Columbia University, Tommy Hilger, Gilt Groupe, and NY Tech Meetup. Matt is also one of the co-founders and currently runs the website We Are NY Tech, where he profiles one person a day from the New York tech community and moderates the job board. In April of 2011 he co-founded WeWork Labs, a co-working space for early stage startups, with his friend Jesse. WeWork Labs is partially funded through sponsors that include PepsiCo, Microsoft, JWT, WilmerHale, and Boxee. He has held a number of elected positions and ran for Township Council in Palmyra, NJ when he was 24. Matt graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from The College of New Jersey in 2005 and studied at Drexel University.

His co-founders for both Onepager and Simande were Eric, Yin, and Matt Moore.
Matt co-founded and currently runs the website We Are NY Tech, where he profiles one person a day from the New York tech community and moderates the job board. In April of 2011 he co-founded WeWork Labs, a co-working space for early stage startups, with his friend Jesse. Prior to moving to New York, Matt was a Senior Web Developer at Mercedes-Benz USA. While there he supported the development efforts of the Digital Media Department working on numerous internal and external websites, microsites, and eLearning materials. Prior to Mercedes-Benz USA, Matt worked at the South Jersey based Courier-Post Newspaper (a Gannett Company) as a Systems Analyst and at Drexel University as a Facility Manager.
In 2007, Matt’s interest in political activism and the participation in government among youths and fellow Asian Americans lead him run for a seat on Township Council in Palmyra, NJ when he was 24. Though he lost in a close race, Matt learned a number of invaluable lessons in leadership, perseverance, and teamwork through the experience. Matt has held the following elected positions: County Committeeman in Fort Lee, NJ, Republican Municipal Chairman in the Borough of Palmyra, NJ, and Treasurer of the Burlington County Young Republicans. Additionally, he has served as the Event Coordinator for the Bergen County (NJ) Freeholder and County Clerk races in 2009, the Asian American Outreach Co-Coordinator during Doug Forrester’s campaign for Governor, and worked as campaign manager for two municipal elections.
Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The College of New Jersey in 2005 and performed graduate work at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
